#2 Natural Plastic (semi-clear)

  • jugs (e.g. milk, water, vinegar,
    windshield washer fluid)
  • labels on, rings on permitted
  • items need to be clean
  • ALL caps can be included in the
    #1, #3 – #7 sort
  • no dirty
  • no motor oil, pesticide or
    hazardous waste

#2 Colored Plastic (solid white or colored)

  • bottles (e.g. laundry detergent
    bottles, bleach containers)
  • labels on, rings on permitted
  • items need to be clean
  • ALL caps can be included in the
    #1, #3 – #7 sort
  • no dirty
  • no motor oil, pesticide or
    hazardous waste containers

Rigid Plastic (No curbside pick up for these items)

  • plastic childrens’ toys
  • plastic lawn furniture
  • buckets and barrels (MUST be
    clean and/or rinsed well!)
  • no PVC pipe
  • no vinyl siding
  • no motor oil, pesticide or
    hazardous waste containers

Plastic Films (No curbside
pick up)

  • ALL films must have an identifier.
    Most are #2 and #4 (e.g. grocery bags #2, wood pellet bags #4). Some films
    do not have an identifier but will be accepted. (e.g. paper towel and
    bathroom tissue wraps). Please Ask.
  • Bubble wrap (usually no
    identifier)
  • Air pillows and similar packing
    material (Can be either #2 or #4)
  • Stretch film or Shrink wrap

Wood pellet bags (Must be free of residual material)
