Wednesday, December 12th from 1-3 p.m. at the BB Cook Clubhouse situated on the Bangor Road in Troy. Come get your sweet tooth satisfied and schmoose with your friends and neighbors during our 1st Annual Christmas Cookie Swap & Holiday Treats Contest.  If you’re a baker, bring your favorite Christmas cookies and/or candies to share with everyone and to enter into our Holiday Treats baking contest. If you’re not a baker, no worries! The event is open to the public, whether you wish to bring cookies to swap or not.

There is a suggested donation of $5 for everyone, which will go to the Troy Union Church.The church is in the middle of a multi-year restoration project.Thanks to the success of the restoration efforts to date, services are once again being held at the church (9 a.m. Sunday mornings) for the first time in three years. Your $5 donation nets you the opportunity to sample all of the goodies AND a plate of Christmas cookies/candy ~ of your selection ~ to take home to your family and/or hubby. (Better yet, have hubby come, too, and select his own plate!) All attendees will be asked to vote for their favorite holiday treat. Coffee and tea will be served and are included in the donation.

Those who wish to enter our 1st Annual Holiday Treats contest will have their entries judged by all attendees. Votes will be tallied at 3 p.m. and the winner will receive a $25 gift certificate to 93 Main Coffee Shop in Unity.
